Sometimes a useful page may be deleted from another wiki for some reason. However as the page is not in the Public Domain it can't be moved here to WikiKnowledge. This is where the TransWiki namespace comes in. Pages in the TransWiki namespace can be under any license. The information can then be made into a public domain version for WikiKnowledge, permission to release the page into the public domain can be sought from the original authors, or another wiki can be found with a compatible license which will take the content. When copying a page into the TransWiki namespace, make sure you note where the page came from and what license it is under. You may also need to note the page history also, for example this is required if the page is under the GNU FDL license. Remember that the TransWiki namespace is only to hold pages temporarily. A new home should be found for the page as soon as possible. Also, only pages which are likely to be useful either to WikiKnowledge or another wiki should be copied over.
