Super Street Fighter II Turbo, known in Japan as Super Street Fighter II X: Grand Master Challenger (スーパーストリートファイターⅡX Sûpâ Sutorîto Faitâ Tsû Ekusu), is the fifth and final iteration in the Street Fighter II sub-series. Carrying over all of the major changes in Super Street Fighter II, Super Turbo was the first game in the series to introduce "Super Combos", a type of powered-up special moves similar to the Super Special Moves featured in previous fighting games such as Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury 2. Super Turbo was also the first appearance Akuma (Gouki in Japan), a character who would become a recurring hidden character in later games.

[edit] Story

In the second Street Fighter tournament, Ryu, Ken and other world warriors with different skills and fighting styles compete. While some of the competitors have ulterior motives for competing, others have something to prove. Twelve world warriors fight to work their way up to battling the tournament's Four Heavenly Kings. All the while, a deadly fighter from Ryu and Ken's past looks on.

[edit] Gameplay

The fast gameplay from Street Fighter II' Turbo, left out from from the previous game returns. Once again, the existing characters were given new special moves and attacks. In addition, all the characters, save for Akuma were each given a Super Combo (a powerful attack, usually an upgrade of one of the character's special moves, that can deal great damage). Super Street Fighter II versions of all the existing characters can also be chosen by using a special code. Akuma can also be selected this way but is not as strong as the computer controlled version. A player can also fight the computer Akuma as the final boss instead of M. Bison, baring the player meets certain requirements.

-Press the Light Punch button to select the character you want. While the plane flies, enter the code for that character. A sound will tone and the color of the character's costume would change if done correctly.

Highlight Ryu, T.Hawk, Guile, Cammy and Ryu again and holding for 3 seconds on each character then press all 3 punches and Start at the same time.

Play through the one player mode with any character and get at least three perfects and no losses. Before the fight with M.Bison, Akuma will appear and kill Bison. Akuma will be the final boss instead.

The wielder of the Satsui no Hadou (Surge of Murderous Intent) and its deadliest attack, the Shun Goku Satsu. Akuma interrupts the tournament to find a worthy fighter to test his true power.

Cammy was a young girl found unconscious in front of the doorstep of the British anti-terrorism force, Delta Red. With no memory of her past, Cammy trained with Delta Red for three years after her amazing agility and reflexes were discovered. Three years later, parts of her memory reveal that M. Bison was connected to her past. She enters the tournament to face Bison and finally find discover the truth about herself.

Chun-Li is an Interpol agent who enters the tournament to go after the criminal organization, Shadaloo. She seeks to not only shut down Shadaloo, but get revenge on its leader, M. Bison, for killing her father.

The third of the Four Heavenly Kings, Sagat was the grandmaster of the first Street Fighter tournament and was beaten by Ryu. The giant scar on his chest is a constant reminder of his defeat. Aligning himself with Shadaloo, Sagat wants to fight Ryu and retain his title.
